A great event is like a road trip. A few surprises turns average into extraordinary and makes for lasting memories. And the custom-designed and branded event for this client proved to be no exception. Their annual awards night event needed an overhaul.
Cowell Night Live was an Annual Awards Night brought into the 21st Century! Bright Ideas took the age-old format of a Presenter announcing the Award Winners and getting their picture taken on stage to an all new level.
Bond. James Bond. Renowned for debonair sophistication, dry martinis, and good luck, whether he’s charming a beautiful woman, or going all in at the Baccarat Table. For the Diamonds Are Forever event, Agent 007 was the inspiration to reimagine a long-time client’s annual staff party, with all the luxurious touches James would expect. Event branding, décor, cuisine, and entertainment all reflected the Bond reputation for style and glamour.
The 1920’s Soiree Christmas staff event delivered all of the luxurious touches we had planned. Through strategic decisions regarding the décor, we created a colourful and elegant tableau for guests to enjoy a sophisticated and entertaining event.
Recognizing an employee for 40 years of service demanded a custom event. Bright Ideas Event Coordinators created a theme perfect for such an occasion with Fairways of Flavour – a culinary trip through the decades, from the 70s to the present. The guest of honour’s love of golf and Arizona provided the theme, featured through tee flagsticks, native plants, and Southwestern decor at each of the food stations. His favourite foods were the inspiration for the menu.
A Carnival celebration well-known throughout the world. The origins of the Mardi Gras we celebrate today, with Kings & Queens, Mardi Gras colors and brass bands, are traced to New Orleans. Guests at this Holiday Party were able to customize their own mask and enjoy the Mardi Gras fever.
Staff of Best Buy in Burnaby, BC were in for a treat when they walked out into their staff parking lot. A carnival had been set up complete with Carnival Games, Popcorn, Cotton Candy and Sno Cones. The biggest attraction by far with the motorized go-carts where staff competed in friendly races.
When the client asked Bright Ideas to transform the venue into a Winter Wonderland, she got just that; a breathtaking winter scene complete with falling snow, ice bars, sparkling white birch trees and snowflake gobos.
The client was planning their annual staff awards evening. They needed to cut back on the expense of hosting all their employees at one location and wanted a team building component as part of the event.
VIP’s, local politicians and staff gathered in celebration at the Grand Opening of the new office location. Guests were treated to plant tours via golf carts and enjoyed tasty canapés and cool refreshments. Upon departure, everyone was given a “gold bar” as an event souvenir.
