Fairway of Flavor

Recognizing an employee for 40 years of service demanded a custom event. Bright Ideas Event Coordinators created a theme perfect for such an occasion with Fairways of Flavour – a culinary trip through the decades, from the 70s to the present. The guest of honour’s love of golf and Arizona provided the theme, featured through tee flagsticks, native plants, and Southwestern decor at each of the food stations. His favourite foods were the inspiration for the menu.

Imperial Visit

When Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan came to Vancouver for their first official visit together, Bright Ideas was awarded the task of ensuring the official arrival went off without a hitch. Accommodating the demands of security, protocol, media, and the public meant that every aspect of the visit had to be coordinated with a variety of government and other official organizations.

Wild Wild West

Western themes are always a good fit for events in British Columbia. It’s a chance to celebrate a bit of heritage, enjoy hearty local dishes, and wear a cowboy hat! This event featured Klondike-era entertainment with dancing girls and casino games, a wide variety of foods, from dainty finger food, to finger licking good BBQ dishes, all surrounded by décor to recreate an authentic looking Western town complete with storefronts, boardwalks, and hay bales.
