Bright Ideas Takes Gold at CSEME 2010

Bright Ideas Event Coordinators Ltd added another winning trophy to the awards shelf on Wednesday, Oct. 27, at the British Columbia Event Industry Awards in Vancouver. Bright Idea’s win came in the ‘Best Event produced for a Corporation’ category. After 12 years of producing this event, we needed to create a fresh, new theme that appealed to both adults and children. Viola! A winner was found with the Rock N Roll Beach BBQ.

A Tribute To Veteran “Smokey” Smith

  Bright Ideas Event Coordinators Ltd. had the privilege of coordinating “Smokey” Smith’s Vigil and Funeral Reception in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Veteran “Smokey” Smith was awarded the Victoria Cross, the most prestigious Military award in the British Commonwealth, for his bravery during WWII. As he was the last surviving Canadian recipient of the Victoria Cross, his passing marks a milestone in history.
